This is one of my project presentations from my public speaking Course. I had to create a six minute pitch. I decided to do mine on the creation of a dog shelter on HWS campus. I got a very positive review after presenting this.
This was my very first speech that I wrote for public speaking. I learned from that speech that I needed to slow down when talking and to look at who I was speaking to. This was definitely a big moment for me as I used to get nervous speaking to large crowds.
This is a link to another project that I made for Public Speaking. We had the opportunity to create a mock interview where we acted as if we were applying to a specific company and talking to specific people from that company. I enjoyed doing this and learning that there is a lot more to public speaking than I thought.
